Balitaktakan sa Probinsya with MASELCO and DMCI

Through the initiative of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan acting as Committee on Energy Presided by Hon. Kristoffer Paul A. Espinosa the chairman and all the members present Invited MASELCO and DMCI to address the current concern of the majority in the Province of Masbate regarding repeated power outages and possible solutions to remedy the said issue.

Deliberation Proper:

-All questions regarding Power outages were due to repair and maintenance of tripping distribution lines according to Engr. Nelson Lalas (OIC Maselco)

-Computation of billing was explained properly

- The Sangguniang Panlalawigan come up to create an Ordinance restricting Telecom Companies, Internet, and cable providers installing cables line under MASELCO's Distribution Post and may include the imposition of penalties if necessary.

-DMCI will allocate funds for two additional reclosers to lessen the affected areas of a power outage during MASELCO Teams repair and maintenance upon the request of Hon. Jamon J. Espares.

-DMCI Installed Solar Panels as a renewal energy source in the Municipality of Cataingan and was moved by the body that other Municipalities should be to follow to make sure there will be an alternative power source in time of power shortage. Yet the company stood up that DMCI has enough Power Source to sustain the supply in the province.
